How much is a shoot?

A portrait session is $200 (maternity, newborn, family, milestone). A Collective Membership is $600 and includes 3 sessions in one year. Boudoir is $300.

The Session Fee covers Planning & Consults, 1-2 Hours of Shooting, and a complimentary In-Person Viewing and Ordering Session, 40+ digital proofs to view and order from, and access to my client closet and props. For a complete list of prices for products, please contact me!

Book early! I take up to two newborn shoots a week, so I’ll get you on my schedule as soon as possible! I pencil in your due date as soon as I receive your session fee. Once your baby arrives, we will schedule the exact time and date of your shoot. Simply email me and I’ll send out a contract and invoice.

I am interested in booking a newborn session with you; how and when do I do that?

This is actually a really important question! In order to achieve light, airy photographs, I recommend my clients to wear light, mostly solid clothing. Think white, cream and light pastels! Upon booking, I send my clients a Style Guide to help guide and inspire.

What should we wear for our  lifestyle newborn or family session?

The goal of these sessions is to create images that are minimalistic, with the focus on your baby and interactions of you with your baby. For this, I recommend wearing light neutral colors without patterns. Think creams, white, light pink, light grey, etc. For mamas, I recommend loose fitting dresses with feminine details and for the dads, I recommend a casual button-up or t-shirt with khakis or light jeans. It may sound silly, but a white tee on dads looks so great with a baby in a white wrap!

What do we wear for our natural newborn session?

Yes, of course! I am here for you 100% and am totally invested into creating the best experience possible. We will work closely on creating a personalized Inspiration Board and outfit ideas. My clients text and email me on the regular with photos and questions. I want to help your dreams come to reality.

Up to 6 during a session. Message me for large family sessions.

How many people can be included in your family session?

Your first round of images will be ready approximately 2 weeks after your session. I will meet with you in the studio for your premiere viewing and ordering session.

How long does it take to see my proofs?

Do I have to pay a deposit to hold the date?

Yes, you do need to pay your entire session fee to hold your date. It is a non-refundable retainer, but you can reschedule your appointment, if needed, as long as a 48-hour notice is given.

I sell prints, as well as digital files. If you choose to get digitals, you’ll be given written permission to make unlimited copies of your images for personal use. Pearl Photo & Design holds the copyright, and personal use does not include the sale of the images or alteration in any way without written consent from me.

Do you sell digitals files?

The only way I use your images online or in advertising is if you sign a release sheet, which is 100% optional. Most of my clients like to see sneak peaks before their reveal and ordering appointment!

Yes! All the images at your viewing and ordering session will have gone through one round of edits. Any images purchased in a collection, in your album, and/or off the a la carte menu will go through two rounds of retouching.

Do you retouch the images?
